(a) If the applicant for a license has paid the proper fees as specified in Section 711.02, and the Mayor is satisfied that all information requested is properly given and that after inspection by the Fire Prevention Officer, the building in which the gameroom or amusement arcade is located meets all applicable state and local codes, then a license shall be issued.
(b) The gameroom or amusement arcade license shall be displayed in a prominent place in the business establishment. It shall be the duty of the owner to display the license during the period covered by such license.
(c) For the purpose of this chapter, all licenses shall terminate on December 31, of each calendar year.
