(a) Any generally recognized retail business, service establishment or processing uses as follows:
(1) The Permitted Principal uses listed in Section 1157.02; except no residences shall be permitted in first floor spaces of existing and/or new structures or buildings;
(2) Apparel shops including all specialty shops of all sorts;
(3) Shops selling automotive parts and accessories;
(4) Banks, loan companies, stock exchange offices and other financial-related businesses and services;
(5) Commercial recreation businesses such as bowling alleys or movie theaters;
(6) Department stores;
(7) Drug stores;
(8) Eating and drinking establishments or other businesses serving food and/or beverages;
(9) Food stores including supermarkets and all types of specialty food stores such as bakeries, candy stores and similar products;
(10) Furniture and appliances, including but not limited to rugs, floor coverings, draperies, sewing machine shops, used furniture, office equipment, office supplies and similar products;
(11) Gift shops, card shops, camera shops, record and other recorded media shops and similar uses;
(12) Hardware and related shops such as wallpaper, paint and similar products;
(13) Antique shops;
(14) Professional and other offices including but not limited to Chambers of Commerce, automobile clubs, medical practioners of all types, lawyers, architects, engineers, insurance agents, realtors, trade unions, post office and utility office;
(15) Publishing and printing operations and services;
(16) Repair shops including but not limited to shoes, watches, small and large appliances, electronic equipment, audio-visual equipment;
(17) Service shops including but not limited to barber, beauty, laundry, dry cleaner and similar uses;
(18) Travel agencies;
(19) Variety stores;
(b) Public and semi-private buildings and privately owned, for profit, proprietary schools such as but not limited to:
(1) Churches, except on the first floor of existing and/or newly constructed buildings;
(2) Fraternal organizations;
(3) Library;
(4) Offices of Municipal, State or Federal government;
(5) Parking garages and parking lots;
(6) Nursery schools and day care centers, provided that all applicable Governmental requirements are complied with.
(c) Other uses, which in the opinion of the Planning Commission of the City of Uhrichsville are similar to the above uses indicated as being permitted. The Planning Commission may also consider essentially custom manufacturing activities which in its opinion shall have the following characteristics:
(1) Benefit from a central location and appropriate to the "B" District
(2) Do not create any objectionable influences such as but not limited to noise, dust, odors either foul or benign and heavy truck traffic;
(3) Involve products characterized by a high ratio of value to bulk so that truck traffic is kept to a minimum.
(d) Off-street parking facilities provided according to the provisions of Section 1141.24 of this Zoning Ordinance.
