The Engineer shall:
(a) Prepare all necessary plans, profiles, specifications and estimates of every kind for all public improvements;
(b) Serve as the authorized representative of the Municipality and supervise the execution of public work undertaken by the Municipality pursuant to plans and specifications approved by Council;
(c) Supervise and direct all inspectors and such inspectors shall report to and receive their instructions from him, relative to the improvements covered by contract;
(d) At the request of the Mayor, furnish plans, specifications and estimates of cost of all improvements for the guidance of Council and Municipal officials and for the information and guidance of other persons dealing with the City;
(e) Upon request, make and deliver to the Mayor and Council, reports of the progress of improvements under his charge;
(f) Make his services available to any department of the Municipality upon approval of the Mayor; (Ord. 86-1978. Passed 7-25-78.)
(g) Attend all meetings of Council as required by the Mayor.
