The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to make and approve such necessary investigative and evidence gathering expenses as he, in his sole discretion deems appropriate, in the prosecution of persons engaged in criminal activities within the corporate limits, which miscellaneous moneys shall be paid from the Miscellaneous Expense Account of the Twinsburg Police Department, being part of the General Fund. The Chief of Police shall approve by vouchers all such expenses for the purposes herein mentioned and shall refer to the case involved, the date and time that the expenditure was incurred, the purpose for each expenditure, to whom such moneys were paid and such other pertinent data as can readily be verified by audit in the future.
