131.05 POLICE AGE REQUIREMENTS.
   No person shall be eligible to receive an original appointment as a police patrolman within the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety of the City unless he or she has attained the age of twenty-one years and has passed a physical examination given by a licensed physician showing that he or she meets the physical requirements necessary to perform the duties of such office. The appointment authority shall, prior to making any such appointment, file with the Police and Firemens’ Disability and Pension Fund, a copy of the report of findings of such licensed physician. The professional fees for such physical examination shall be paid by the City.
