The design standards prescribed herein are intended to be the minimum standards which, when applied with the professional skill, will produce attractive and harmonious development, convenient and safe streets and economical layouts of single family, cluster and multi-family residential subdivisions and other land development while at the same time affording to the City construction standards which will be optimally functional and durable resulting in minimum layout for maintenance and repair dollars in the future.
(a) There is hereby adopted, as part of the Subdivision Regulations of the Municipality of Twinsburg, Ohio, "Subdivision General Notes and Standard Details of the City of Twinsburg, Ohio", to be prepared, amended and updated from time to time by the Engineer, and the same shall govern and establish minimum standards on construction within public right-of-way or areas intended to be dedicated in the future to the public whether within subdivisions or elsewhere. The Engineer is hereby granted and vested with the authority to enforce such standards or technical engineering data and construction techniques setting forth the same in said Subdivision General Note and Standard Details which is made a part hereof by this reference as if reappearing in whole in this enactment. A copy of said Subdivision General Notes and Standard Details shall be placed on file in the office of the Clerk of Council after review and approval by the Mayor and City Council
(b) The location, layout and density of all proposed subdivisions shall conform to the Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan of current adoption by the Municipality of Twinsburg.
