Sampling anemometers may be permitted as temporary uses by the Building Commissioner in compliance with the provisions contained herein and the applicable WET regulations.
(a) Anemometers.
(1) The construction, installation or modification of an anemometer tower shall require a building permit and shall conform to all applicable local, state and federal applicable safety, construction, environmental, electrical, communications and FAA requirements.
(2) An anemometer shall be subject to the minimum requirements for height, setback, separation, location and safety requirements and decommissioning that correspond to the size of the WET that is proposed to be constructed on the site.
(3) An anemometer shall be permitted for no more than thirteen (13) months for a STMWET or MWET and no more than three (3) years for a LWET.
