(a) No person shall engage in the business of hauling household rubbish, refuse, garbage or recyclables within the corporate limits unless he/she shall first obtain a license therefore in the form provided by the City of Twinsburg Building Department nor shall he/she haul from commercial, industrial, mercantile or office structures without first obtaining a permit therefore.
(b) The number of commercial and industrial haulers authorized to do business within the corporate limits shall not be limited, so long as they comply with all regulatory, licensing and income tax requirements of this City. Commercial and industrial haulers are defined as those persons, firms and corporations serving business establishments located within the various commercial and industrial zoning classifications within the City, or those nonconforming commercial and industrial uses located within the corporate limits. Nothing herein, however, shall prohibit any commercial business or industry from operating its own on-site disposal system. (Ord. 41-2013. Passed 4-9-13.)
