Each full-time employee in every department shall be given up to four (4) hours leave annually for cancer screening procedures such as mammograms, prostrate, PAP test, etc. Time off shall be scheduled at least one-week in advance and shall be designated specifically for cancer screening at time of request. Time may be taken in quarter (1/4) hour increments. Employee shall furnish proof of the specific test or screening that was received. If proof of test is not provided, employee shall not be paid for time off. All screenings must be specifically for a cancer-related ailment. Tests, screening and exams for other medical needs shall not qualify for this specific cancer prevention benefits. (Ord. 89-2021. Passed 12-14-21.)
