(a) All full-time employees shall be eligible to earn a one-time Education Bonus upon earning a degree at each level listed below from an accredited educational institution while in the employment of the City of Twinsburg according to the following schedule: five hundred dollars ($500.00) for an accredited Associate's Degree seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for an accredited Bachelor's Degree one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250) for an accredited Master's Degree or PhD
(b) All degrees must be job-related in order to qualify for the bonus.
(c) Employees must complete a request form which shall be approved by the Department Head and the Mayor. A copy of the diploma must also be submitted prior to receiving the bonus. (Ord. 89-2021. Passed 12-14-21.)
