(a) Full-time employees shall be paid shift differential pay as follows: First shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - no differential
Second shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. - $1.50 per hour differential Third shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. - $3.00 per hour differential
(b) Shift differential pay shall not apply to part-time employees, (except part-time dispatchers), seasonal employees, shift firefighters and employees who are not regularly scheduled to work second or third shift.
(c) An employee required to work any period spanning two shifts shall be paid the shift differential in effect at the time they begin work.
(d) The above shift differentials shall also apply where an employee would have been scheduled for an afternoon or midnight shift at the time they take any paid time off, excluding Sick Leave and Injury Leave (i.e. comp time, Vacation pay, Holiday pay).
