147.01 EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS.
   (a)    Full Time Employees. (including Department Heads)
      (1)   Works standard forty (40) hour workweek
      (2)   All are Non-exempt (eligible for overtime) except Department Heads, (which includes Chief of Fire, Assistant Fire Chief, Chief of Police, Assistant Police Chief, Police Lieutenant, Director of Community Planning and Development, Municipal Engineer, Building Commissioner, Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources, Senior Network Administrator, Director of Parks and Recreation, Center Manager in Fitness Center, Golf Course Manager, Director of Golf Maintenance, Director of Public Works, General Superintendent in Service Division, Wastewater Treatment Superintendent, and Clerk of Council.
      (3)   Hours of work may vary by department.
   (b)    Part Time Employees.
      (1)   Works an average of up to twenty-five (25) hours per week, year-round.
      (2)   May work full-time hours during the summer months and at other periods, as needed.
      (3)   Part-time Firefighters are not eligible for overtime until they have worked one hundred fifty-nine (159) hours in a three week period.
      (4)   Part-time employees in the Parks and Recreation Department shall not receive time-and-a-half for hours worked on holidays when those buildings are open for business.
   (c)   Seasonal/Intermittent Employees.
      (1)   Work up to forty (40) hours per week during the summer months and an irregular work schedule throughout the year.
      (2)   These employees work during the summer and are eligible to return for special events or special assignments throughout the year as needed.
      (3)   Eligible for overtime over forty (40) hours per work week.
      (4)   Not eligible for any benefits.
   (d)   Temporary Employees.
      (1)   Full or part-time, as needed for specific assignments and special projects.
      (2)   Not eligible for any benefits.
