Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.23, and in accord with Ohio Board of Building Standards amended Rule 4101:2-46-36, there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of the practical safeguarding of persons, buildings and dwellings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity for light, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, being particularly the 2002 Edition thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter modified, amended or deleted.
