No person including duly authorized solicitors of recognized educational, civic, religious or charitable organizations shall sell or offer for sale, barter, exchange or solicit from door to door, without appointment the purchase of or gift of any goods, wares, merchandise or other articles of value or money within the Municipality during the period from dusk to 9:00 a.m. of the next succeeding day, nor shall such person peddle, solicit or canvass on Sunday or any legal State or Federal holiday.
