Any person desiring to sell or offer for sale, barter or exchange or solicit from door to door the purchase of or gift of any goods, wares, merchandise or other articles of value or money within the Municipality shall make application to the Mayor who, upon being furnished with sufficient proof that such person is of good moral character, shall issue to the applicant a license and shall charge for the same five dollars ($5.00) per day, twenty dollars ($20.00) per week or fifty dollars ($50.00) per month per solicitor. Each such person shall also register with the City Tax Administrator before any license is issued.
