(a) The minimum acreage for a single gas/oil well shall be twenty acres. No more than two separate contiguous parcels may be joined for the purpose of meeting this minimum acreage requirement. There shall be a minimum of 1,320 feet between the wellheads.
(b) There shall be no wells, tanks or reservoirs erected or maintained for the storage of hydrocarbon-type products located within 200 feet of any public right of way, nor within 750 feet of any residential dwelling, nor within 300 feet of any residential lot line not included in a drilling unit, or 200 feet of any residential dwelling located in the drilling unit.
(c) The location of any wellhead within the drilling unit shall be subject to the approval of Council and the Administration.
