§ 93.05 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of §§ 93.05 through 93.09 the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   (A)   "INOPERATIVE MOTOR VEHICLE." Any motor vehicle from which the engine, wheels, or other parts have been removed, or on which the engine, wheels, or other parts have been altered, damaged, or otherwise so treated that the vehicle is incapable of being driven under its own motor power. "INOPERATIVE MOTOR VEHICLE" shall not include any motor vehicle which has been rendered temporarily incapable of being driven under its own motor power in order to perform ordinary service or repair operations.
   (B)   Nothing in §§ 93.05 through 93.09 shall apply to any motor vehicle that is enclosed within a building when not in use, nor to historic vehicles over 25 years of age (provided that such historic vehicle is currently registered and displaying proper license plates as required by the Illinois Vehicle Code), nor to a motor vehicle on the premises of any place of business licensed to engage in the wrecking or junking of motor vehicles.
