(A) Any user requesting termination of service shall give written notice to the City Clerk ten days prior to the time such termination is desired. The water meter shall be read by the supplier of local water service and the user billed according to the rate schedule in § 51.44. The responsibility for payment for sanitary sewer service prior to the date of termination shall be with the property owners as well as the user.
(B) There shall be no charge for transferring the sewer service to the subsequent user.
