§ 10.40.030   Definitions.
   (A)   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. A conditional use permit is a special type of land use permit required for those uses which may have the potential to impact the surrounding neighborhood. CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS are granted by the Planning Commission at a public hearing.
      SITE PLAN REVIEW. A type of land use permit review process undertaken by staff from various city departments which ensures that a proposed development is in conformance with the standards of the Zoning title and policies of the Tulare General Plan.
   (B)   Administrative approvals may be granted for those minor planning requests that involve accessory structures, classification of uses, and other minor planning requests, that can be approved by the Planning and Building Director.
