The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code as adopted in Section II of this Ordinance is hereby revised by amendment, addition or repeal of the following sections of the adopted code as are respectively indicated:
(a) Section 101 Scope and General Requirements.
101.1 Title. Insert "City ofTroy" and Delete '[NAME OF JURISDICTION]".
(b) Section 103 Code Compliance Agency.
103.1 Insert: "Development Department' and Delete "[NAME OF DEPARTMENT]'.
(c) Section 107 Means of Appeal.
107.1 General.
Insert 'Local Codes Appeals Board' and Delete 'The board of Appeals'.
107.3 Qualifications.

(g) Section 602 Heating Facilities.
602.3 Heat supply.
Delete entire paragraph and insert:
"Every owner and operator of any building who rents, leases or lets one or more dwelling unit, rooming unit, dormitory or guestroom on terms, either expressed or
implied, to furnish heat to the occupants thereof shall supply heat to maintain a minimum temperature of 65°F (18"C) in all habitable rooms, bathrooms and toilet rooms".
602.4 Occupiable Work Spaces.
Delete entire paragraph and insert
'Indoor oocupiable work spaces shall be supplied with heat to maintain a minimum temperature of 65°F (18°C) during the period the spaces are occupied. Exceptions. 1. Processing, storage and operation areas that require cooling or special temperature conditions. 2. Areas in which persons are primarily engaged in vigorous physical activities.”
(h) Appendix B Board of Appeals.
Insert "Local Codes Appeals Board' and Delete "Board of Appeals".
(i) Section B101 General.
B 101.3 Membership of the Board.
Insert "five (5) years" and Delete: '[INSERT NUMBER OF YEARS)'.
