(a) Any City official and any City employee duly pre-authorized by the employee's department head, who uses a private automobile on City business, shall be reimbursed for mileage at the rate permitted under IRS rules.
(b) The City Auditor, upon presentation of such evidence as he may prescribe, shall make payment to such official or employee and charge the same to the appropriate department fund. (Ord. 42-2012. Passed 12-17-12.)
