There is hereby established a City Beautification Committee which shall be composed of thirteen members who shall serve for terms of two years each. The present seven members shall continue in office for the balance of their respective appointments under Ordinance 30-69. Six new members shall be appointed. three of whom shall be appointed for an initial term corresponding to the term of those four members previously appointed and three of whom shall be appointed for an initial term corresponding to the term of those three members previously appointed. Thereafter, seven members shall be appointed for two-year terms and six members shall be appointed for two- year terms as the present term of office of each group expires. At least a majority of the members of the committee shall be residents of the City and the balance shall be either residents of either Concord or Staunton Townships in Miami County, Ohio. The City Beautification Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of Council.
