(a) No person shall plant, perform maintenance, or remove any public tree in the treelawn or other public place without obtaining a permit. An application for a permit may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer, or on-line at www.troyohio.gov. Persons receiving a permit shall abide by the Arboricultural Specifications and Standards of Practice.
(b) No person shall perform any work on a monarch tree without obtaining a permit.
(c) No person shall excavate, or do other subsurface work within the drip-line of a public tree without first procuring a permit
(d) There shall be no fee associated with these permits.
(e) A permit may be delayed until reviewed by the City Forester.
