The application for a moving permit shall be accompanied by a fee of five dollars ($5.00) and shall be submitted in writing at least two weeks prior to the intended movement. The application shall state the location and character of the building or structure to be moved, the route over which the same is to be moved and the location to which the same is to be moved. If the proposed route is not satisfactory to the Director of Public Service and Safety, he may change the same and select a route over which the building or other structure shall be moved, giving due consideration to the least inconvenience of the public.
