1303.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Whoever violates any provisions of this chapter, including the Building Code adopted by reference, or fails to comply with any of the requirements thereof or erects, constructs, alters or repairs a building, structure or associated service equipment in violation of an approved plan or directive of the Building Official or of a permit or certificate issued under the provisions of this code, shall upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree punishable by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served, in accordance with the terms and provisions hereof, and without positive action by the owner to correct the illegal action, shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (b)    Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, including the Building Code adopted by reference, arising out of the same property for which that person was previously convicted hereunder, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both.
   (c)    Whoever continues any work in or about the structure after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as he is directed to perform to remove a violation of unsafe conditions, shall be liable to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
