Cemeteries have been established and are continued on land owned by the City. The plats of such cemeteries as adopted and approved by Council, now on file in the office of the City Auditor, show all boundaries, sections, lots, divisions, roads, drives and paths, and was and is adopted as the official plat of such cemeteries, which shall be called Riverside Cemetery and Rose Hill Cemetery.
No person shall lay out or establish any cemetery, or use any lot or land within the City for the burial of the dead except in Riverside Cemetery or Rose Hill Cemetery, or some other tract of land duly designated as a cemetery by an ordinance of Council.
