Any license for an adult entertainment business shall be valid for a period of three years, unless previously revoked by the City Council pursuant to § 114.58 or unless the license is terminated when an ownership interest in the adult entertainment business is transferred prior to the expiration of the three-year period. At the end of the three-year period, a licensee who desires to renew a license shall be required to file a new community impact statement and license application, and to follow the procedures set forth in this chapter for action by the City Council on a license application.
