§ 72.27 PARKING RESTRICTIONS DURING SNOWFALLS; SNOW ROUTES.
   (A)   Generally. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street in the city at any time within 12 hours after a snowfall of three inches or more has occurred.

   (B)   Snow routes.  
      (1)   There shall be no parking on either side of streets designated as snow routes 24 hours after a two-inch snowfall has accumulated on the snow routes. The city shall post signs designating a street as a snow route and these signs shall be notice to the owners and operators of all motor vehicles that parking is prohibited.
      (2)   Parking may be resumed on individual streets as soon as final plowing, as announced by the city, has been completed on that street.
      (3)   Vehicles parked on snow routes in violation of this division (B) shall be towed and may be reclaimed upon payment of any towing and storage fee, if any.
      (4)   The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to place and establish signs and other devices in accordance with sound traffic engineering principles as are necessary to implement and execute this section.
