§ 52.012 INTERFERING WITH WATER SYSTEM.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to break the seal of any meter or in any manner to make any alterations, changes or repairs on any water meter, or to open any mains, laterals, service pipes, stop cocks, hydrants or valves, or otherwise tamper with or attempt to do any work on either or any of them without authority given by the City Council or the Public Works Committee. Any person who shall violate any provisions of this section, or who shall wilfully or maliciously injure or damage any property connected with the city water system shall be subject to the penalty prescribed in § 52.999.
