The duties of the Commission shall include but are not limited to advising the Mayor of appropriate economic development activities in the city; assisting the Mayor in the development of a healthy commercial environment in the city and assisting the Mayor and City Council in the attraction of new business to the city. In addition thereto, the Mayor and City Council may assign additional duties and activities to the Commission and its members.
