220.01 ACCEPTANCE AND DISPOSITION OF SEIZED CASH, MOTOR VEHICLES AND OTHER PROPERTY.
   (a)   The City Manager is hereby directed to accept any cash, motor vehicles or other property which is determined to be contraband and ordered forfeited by any court of competent jurisdiction and/or any payments in lieu of fines ordered to be made by any court.

   (b)   The City Manager shall deliver any cash or other funds and/or fines to the Treasurer who shall deposit them in the Drug Law Enforcement Fund if received pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2925.03, or the Law Enforcement Trust Fund if received pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2933.43, or the Furtherance of Justice Fund.
   (c)   The City Manager may have any motor vehicle or other personal property titled in the name of the City for use by the Police Department, or cause such items, the possession of which do not constitute a criminal offense, to be sold at public sale with the proceeds to be deposited in the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.

   (d)   The Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to disburse any funds received for the Furtherance of Justice Fund to the Chief of Police or his or her designated agent upon the request of the Chief of Police. On or before December 31, 1989, and each year thereafter, the Chief of Police shall return all unused funds to the Treasurer with a general accounting of the funds dispersed.

220.02 ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER.
   (a)   The position of Assistant City Manager is established and shall be in the unclassified service of the City.
   (b)   The position of Assistant City Manager shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager and shall be appointed by the City Manager.
   (c)   Salary shall be as set from time to time by City Council resolution.
   (d)   The qualifications and duties of the position of Assistant City Manager shall be more fully defined in Exhibit A attached to Ordinance 25-2001 and incorporated by reference and made a part hereof.
   (e)   The position of Assistant City Manager shall be filled or vacant at the discretion of the City Manager. It is not mandatory that the position be filled.

220.03 AVAILABILITY OF PUBLIC RECORDS.
   Editor’s Note: Pursuant to Ordinance 15-2011, adopted 12-1-2011, and Ordinance 10-2014, adopted 8-7-2014, former provisions of this section have been deleted in order to remove sections considered unnecessary and duplicative in nature to Ohio Revised Code (including Ohio R.C. 149.39).
