(A) The R-3 District is intended to allow for multiple-family dwelling structures, and related uses, which will generally serve as zones of transition between the non-residential districts and lower density residential districts.
(B) The multiple-family district serves the needs for the apartment type of unit.
(C) The R-3 District is intended to provide sites in and near the central business district for housing which will provide convenient living accommodations for those residents of the village desiring a location near employment, shopping and civic activities.
