§ 150.045 ADOPTION OF NATIONAL PLUMBING CODE BY REFERENCE.
   (A)   Adoption. There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing minimum standards of design, materials and workmanship for all plumbing hereafter installed, altered or repaired and to establish methods of procedure within the limits of the village the most current edition of that certain plumbing code known as the“Illinois Plumbing Code 77 IL Admin Code 890” published by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the amendments prescribed in division (B) below are hereby adopted as the “Plumbing Code of the Village of Tremont, Illinois” (the “Plumbing Code”). The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to maintain on file one copy of the Plumbing Code as herein adopted.
   (B)   Amendments. The Plumbing Code is hereby adopted with the following amendments:
      “(1)   Fixtures in basements shall discharge into a sump and be pumped by automatic sewage pumping equipment. The sewage sump shall not receive sub-surface water from foundation drains or building downspouts; and
      (2)   Foundation drains and building downspouts shall not be connected to the sewage drainage system. Foundation drains shall discharge into an isolated sump and be pumped by automatic pumping equipment and discharged into the back yard or a storm drain line designed for such purposes.”
