§ 150.030 ADOPTION OF NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE BY REFERENCE.
   (A)   Adoption. All electric wiring, installation of electrical fixtures, apparatus or electrical appliances for furnishing light, heat or power, or other electrical work introduced into or placed in or upon, or in any way connected to, any building or structure within the limits of the village shall be in conformity with the provisions set forth in the most current edition Adoption of the “2014 National Electric Code” published by the National Fire Protection Association and the amendments prescribed in division (B) below are hereby adopted as the “Electric Code of the Village of Tremont, Illinois” (the “Electric Code”). The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to maintain on file one copy of the Electric Code as herein adopted.
   (B)   Amendments. The Electrical Code is hereby adopted with the following amendment, being § 90-4, “Enforcement,” is hereby amended by adding thereto the following provisions:
“The duly appointed Code Compliance Officer of the Village of Tremont, Illinois and authorized designee are hereby authorized and designated to carry out the enforcement provisions of this code.
Means of Appeal. Any person affected by a decision of the code official or a notice or order issued under this code shall have the right of appeal per the process established by section 113 of the Commercial Building Code, which shall additionally govern the grounds and regulate the procedures for such appeals.”
