The purpose of this chapter is to establish minimum requirements and regulations for the placement, construction and modification of small wind energy systems, large wind energy systems and wind monitoring towers and equipment, as defined in section 10-26-3 of this chapter, while promoting the safe, effective and efficient use of such systems.
