3-4-7: VIOLATIONS:
   A.   Specified: A violation of this chapter exists if:
      1.   Failure To Install: A backflow prevention assembly and/or device required by this chapter for control of cross connections is not installed or maintained, as required in this chapter.
      2.   Removal Or Bypass Of Assembly And/Or Device: It is found that a backflow prevention assembly and/or device is removed or bypassed.
      3.   Unprotected Cross Connection: An unprotected cross connection exists on the vehicle and/or equipment.
      4.   Failure To Inspect: The periodic system inspection required herein has not been conducted.
      5.   False Report Or False Information: A false report or false information is provided to the city by or on behalf of the owner or consumer, with regard to the cross connection or backflow prevention assembly and/or device.
      6.   Failure To Obtain Sticker: The current sticker is not on the vehicle and/or chemical equipment in a visible location.
   B.   Notice Of Violation: The city shall provide written notification of any violation of this chapter to the owner of the vehicle or equipment on which the violation exists and the consumer, if different, shall demand that the corrective action be taken within twenty four (24) hours of the delivery of such notification. The city, at the request of the owner or consumer, may authorize an extension of time for the completion or any modification of the required corrective action upon good cause shown.
