The issuance or renewal of a business license for any business employing chemical equipment or vehicles subject to the provisions of this chapter may be conditioned upon compliance with this chapter, and any failure to comply with this chapter shall be grounds for suspension of a business license issued to any such business. At the time of issuance or renewal of a business license, the owner of any such vehicle or equipment shall provide to the business licensing department the current authorization issued by the backflow administrator.
