§ 110.01 ENTERTAINMENT AND SALES; PERMITS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to exercise the vocation of a hawker or conduct auction sales of goods, wares and merchandise of nature without having first procured a license so to do in the manner in this section hereinafter provided.

   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to sell goods from house to house as a peddler or solicit orders for goods either for present or future delivery without first obtaining a license so to do in the manner hereinafter provided.

   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons within the corporation limits of said town to own, conduct or manage for gain any theater, circus, show or any exhibition or give concert or musical entertainment without first obtaining a license in the manner in this section hereinafter provided.

   (D)   Any person who shall desire to obtain a license required to engage in any business or avocation, or to do any one of these things requiring license as provided in divisions (A) through (C) above shall make application to the Town Clerk-Treasurer therein, truly stating the business calling or specific thing for which he or she desires to obtain a license and the time for which he or she may desire to obtain such license, which application shall be accompanied by the amount of the license fee in this section hereinafter provided. The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall thereupon issue to such applicant a license, which shall show by name the business, vocation or thing for which said license is granted and the time for which it is granted.

   (E)   The fees for the license provided in divisions (A) through (D) above shall be as follows:
      (1)   For street hawker as provided in division (A) above: $5 per day or fractional part of a day;
      (2)   For selling goods from house to house or soliciting orders for goods provided in division (B) above: the sum of $1 per day or fractional part of a day; and
      (3)   For shows, theaters or musical entertainment as provided in division (C) above: the sum of $5 per day or any fractional part of a day.
