§ 114.05 LICENSE ISSUANCE OR RENEWAL; FEE.
   (A)   The Chief of Police shall issue an emergency wrecker service license to an applicant if the Chief of Police is satisfied that the applicant will comply with the requirements of this section.
   (B)   The Chief of Police may refuse to issue or renew an emergency wrecker company license for one or more of the following reasons:
      (1)   The making of any false statement as to a material matter in an application for a license or license renewal;
      (2)   Conviction of the licensee, applicant or an employee of licensee or applicant for a violation of a provision of this section;
      (3)   Revocation of a license, pursuant to this section, of the applicant or any proprietor, partner, corporate officer of the applicant within five years preceding application;
      (4)   Use by the licensee of a trade name for his or her emergency wrecker company other than the one registered with the city;
      (5)   Suspension of the licensee’s emergency wrecker company license three times within 12 months; and/or
      (6)   Issuance would substantially and adversely affect the financial condition or operational capabilities of currently licensed emergency wrecker sendee companies.
   (C)   The annual fee for an emergency wrecker service license shall be as provided for in the fee schedule found in Chapter 36 for each emergency wrecker company, which amount shall be prorated on a monthly basis based upon the date of expiration. Licenses will expire on December 31 of each year.
