§ 30.03 OFFICIAL NAME; GOVERNING BODY.
   The official name of the town shall hereafter be known as the “City of Tool”, and its governing body shall hereafter be known as the “City Council”.
   (A)   The three Aldermen or City Council members who collected the smallest number of votes in its first election shall serve a term of one year.
   (B)   The two Aldermen or City Council members who collected the largest number of votes in its first election, and the Mayor shall serve a term of two years.
   (C)   This subchapter is deemed necessary in order that the terms of the City Council will be staggered in effect that each year three members will be elected to serve in capacities as elected.
   (D)   The City Council shall have the authority to appoint or hire its Chief of Police and City Judge and all other city employees that are necessary to operate and maintain its city government.
