The President has the authority to hire or appoint all positions in the village, including Police Chief and Public Works Supervisor, unless otherwise established by statute or ordinance. All recruitment and hiring processes will follow the steps outlined in § 35.052. The Village Clerk, Police Chief, Public Works Supervisor, and Treasurer are appointed with the advice and consent of the Board.
