§ 153.001 PURPOSE.

(A) These regulations are designed to provide standards and rules related to the making, reviewing, filing, and recording of subdivision and development plans and plats, and to provide for preliminary and final approval or rejection of such plans or plats, or portions thereof, by the village and as set forth in this chapter.

(B) SUBDIVISION OF LAND shall mean the division of land as defined in the ILCS and as further defined in this chapter.
