§ 93.03 IDENTIFICATION.
   The village’s Police Department is further authorized to identify inoperable motor vehicles which exists in contravention of this subchapter and hereby authorizes and directs such law enforcement officers to issue a municipal notice to the owner of property where such vehicle may be located and to the owner of such vehicle. Such notice shall identify the vehicle, its location, the determination that it constitutes an inoperable motor vehicle, and direction that it be removed within 21 days of the issuance of the notice. Such notice shall be effective upon mailing by first class mail to the last known address of the owner of record of said vehicle and upon mailing of such notice to the last known address of the owner of such vehicle if determinable. Such notice shall also be placed in a conspicuous place on such vehicle to the extent access is practicable. Notice, at the election of village, may alternatively be effective when personally served by a police officer or County Sheriff’s Deputy upon said person or an occupant of the same household above the age of 21 years old in which case the date of the notice shall be the date of service. All notices shall be in substantially the form set forth in Appendix A.
