§ 36.105 TRAINING TIME.
   (A)   All officers shall receive pay for all hours worked with a minimum of two hours for attending approved training. The scheduling of the training and the approval for the content of the training class must be received from the Police Chief at least two weeks in advance of the training. Travel time for training outside of the county will be considered hours worked, however, travel time within the county will not be considered.
   (B)   For purposes of calculating overtime, training time will be considered as hours worked. If the training was scheduled for eight hours, the officer will receive a full eight hours’ pay. If an officer is ordinarily scheduled to work ten hours and misses a full shift due to an eight-hour training day, the officer will be paid for eight hour if the training was requested by the officer and ten hours if requested by the village.
