701.10. Appeals.
   (a)   In the event that no provision of this Business Regulation Code states otherwise, any person, society, club, firm, partnership, organization or corporation whose application for a license under this Code is denied by the Director of Finance, shall be notified in writing of the denial by the Director of Finance. Such person, society, club, firm, partnership, organization or corporation may appeal the denial to a Board of Appeals comprised of the Director of Law, who shall act as Chair of the Board of Appeals, the Director of Public Safety and the Director of Public Service, or their selected representatives. A written request for an appeal hearing shall be submitted to the Director of Finance within ten days after receipt of the application denial notice.
   (b)   The Director of Finance may suspend, revoke or refuse to renew any license issued to any person, society, club, firm, partnership, organization or corporation under the provisions of this Code for a violation of any provision of this Code. Any person, society, club, firm, partnership, organization or corporation whose license has been revoked by the Director of Finance shall be notified in writing of the revocation by the Director of Finance. Such person, society, club, firm, partnership, organization or corporation may appeal the revocation to the Board of Appeals created in subsection (a) hereof. A written request for an appeal hearing shall be submitted to the Director of Finance within ten days after receipt of the license revocation notice.
   (c)   A Board of Appeals, as herein established, shall hear any appeal, pursuant to subsections (a) or (b) within thirty days from the date the request for appeal is received by the Director of Finance. The Board shall have the power to sustain, modify or reverse the decision of the Director of Finance. The Board's decision shall be in writing and sent to the appellant/applicant or his/her legal representative, within fifteen days after the hearing is concluded. The action of the Board of Appeals is final. A quorum of the Board shall consist of a majority of the members of the Board.

701.11. Additional fee for delinquent licenses.
   Any license required by this chapter which is not obtained by the required date shall be deemed to be delinquent. The fee to be paid for a license more than thirty days delinquent shall be increased by twenty-five percent (25%). This provision does not waive any other penalties provided for in this chapter and shall be in addition thereto.

701.99. Penalty.
   (a)   Whoever violates any provision of this Part Seven -Business Regulation Code for which no other penalty is provided is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
   (b)   Whoever violated Section 701.08 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
   (c)   Each day that any person, society, firm, club, partnership, organization or corporation is in violation of any provision of Part Seven - Business Regulation Code, shall constitute a separate offense.
