In the event complaint is made to either the Officer or an authorized City Inspector that any taximeter registers incorrectly, or not in accordance with the rate card posted in the taxicab, or not in accordance with the rate specified in Section 781.05, it shall be the duty of the Officer or an authorized City Inspector to inspect the taximeter immediately.
