The overtime guarantees set forth herein shall not be applied to those situations where the employee is attending a pre-scheduled meeting or where there has been a citizen complaint which necessitates an inspection outside of the regular working hours. In such cases the employee shall be guaranteed two (2) hours overtime.
The overtime guarantees shall also not apply to situations where the employee determines the day and time the necessary overtime is worked. In such cases the employee shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for actual hours worked.
