§ 90.06  DOGS; RABIES CONTROL.
   (A)   Initial vaccination.  No owner of any dog over 4 months of age shall keep or maintain such animal in the city unless it has been vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian with anti-rabies vaccine.  Young dogs shall be vaccinated no more than 30 days after they have reached 3 months of age.  Unvaccinated dogs, more than 3 months of age, that are acquired or moved into the city must be vaccinated within 30 days of the purchase or arrival, unless there is documented evidence of current vaccination.  The owner of a dog, upon initial vaccination and subsequent revaccination, shall assure that the dog wears a tag upon its collar indicating the date and the fact that the anti-rabies vaccine has been administered.
   (B)   Revaccination.  Every dog shall be revaccinated not more than 12 months after the initial vaccination.  Thereafter, the interval between revaccinations shall conform to the manufacturers written instructions for the vaccine administered.  The owner must maintain documented evidence of such revaccination from a licensed veterinarian.
