§ 36.106  COMPENSATION.
   (A)   Members of the Civil Service Commission shall each receive compensation in the amount of $5 per attended meeting, not to exceed $30 annually.

   (B)   The Civil Service Commission is empowered to employ a secretary, by the job title "Secretary to the Civil Service Commission," who shall upon request of the Commission attend meetings and perform other work relating to the Civil Service Commission as directed by the Commission.  The Secretary who attends a Civil Service Commission meeting at the request of the Commission shall be compensated at the rate of $5 per hour with a minimum of $15 per meeting, and shall be compensated at the rate of $3.50 per hour for all civil service work performed other than at Civil Service Commission meetings.  The Secretary shall be obligated to provide to the Commission monthly a written statement setting forth the work performed and the time spent thereon by the 30th of each month.  (1974 Code, § 36.02)  (Ord. 23-77, passed 5-16-1977; Am.
