§ 36.001  AFFIRMATIVE VOTE BY MAJORITY REQUIRED.
   Any action by the boards and commissions identified and established by this chapter and any other boards and commissions of the city, whose members are appointed by Council shall be taken only after the affirmative vote for or in favor of such action by a majority of the members of each such board or commission who are present and voting on the question of such action at the meeting which has a quorum of members.  No rule or regulation inconsistent with this section may be adopted by any board or commission.
